Role in the post-conviction critique
Roger Norwich co-filed a formal GMC complaint with Dr Svilena Dimitrova arguing that the prosecution expert witnesses in the Letby trial failed to provide balanced, impartial views and instead gave the court opinions that would not be supported by most doctors.
The complaint is one of several formal procedural challenges to the trial expert evidence on the public record, and is referenced in the post-conviction expert-methodology grounds.
Why this biography is on the site
The Norwich/Dimitrova GMC complaint is part of the documentary record on which the CCRC review draws. The expert-evidence-methodology grounds in the supplementary CCRC submissions engage with the substance of complaints of this kind.
