Letby's 2016 grievance report published — complaint against consultants upheld

The November 2016 report of the Countess of Chester's internal investigation into Lucy Letby's grievance over her redeployment is published on the Thirlwall Inquiry website. Investigator Dr Christopher Green upheld the grievance and recommended her return to the unit, finding it 'a concern that these concerns are based on "gut feel"' and writing that subjecting her to 'the ordeal of the last four to five months based on a "gut feeling"' was not compatible with the trust's values — and that the two consultants' conduct warranted possible further investigation under trust policies.
